Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Be a respectable leader and teach by example: possess high standards of self and of others and reflect a positive, influential and supportive attitude.
Drive sales and profits by coaching bakery leaders through innovative merchandising, industry knowledge and technical expertise.
Supervise the development and execution of excellent guest service, creative displays, product demonstrations and promotions
Lead associates to promote professional growth, efficiency, high morale and teamwork
Support and provide department leaders and supervisors with the proper organization of daily operations and administrative forms, record keeping logs and necessary tools
Review, respond and follow through on record keeping (production sheets, temp. logs, shrink logs, spread sheets department transfers, sanitation logs).
Review work procedures and operational concerns. Collaborate on methods to improve guest service, production, performance, safety and sanitation.
Assist in the opening of new stores, seasonal changes and resets within the bakery departments
Assist in daily bakery operations as needed. Must be willing and capable to take over department leaders, supervisors and associates daily tasks during breaks, vacations and off days. Level of involvement in daily operations to be determined according to changing needs, dependent on time of year and staffing.
Work and partner with business partners and vendors to establish best cost of goods, ad items, and retail support as needed.
Attend weekly Leadership Team meetings, Ad Committee Meetings, and other meetings as needed.
Communicate daily and weekly with bakery department leaders and store directors regarding bakery department success, concerns and planning
